All pictures are entered into a databank after a new installation. Modern cameras already have a thumbnail saved in the jpg-files. PicApport automatically creates a thumbnail for every picture that doesn't have one and enters it in the databank. If the pictures were called up by PicApport before, PicApport has to create the thumbnail only once. This can cause the displaying of large pictures to slow down noticeably.
